While, by law and DCA regulations, you are only required to maintain an attendance log, Deer Chase Academy highly recommends you keep several records and forms pertaining to your child's education. Having these things will not only help you keep your school on a steady, smooth path, but it will also provide your child with resources he can draw on if he should choose to pursue a degree from an institute of higher education.
BUILD A PORTFOLIO
A portfolio is a collection of forms and work samples designed to give an overview of the school year. It can also help you plan your year in advance with curriculum lists, weekly planners, and a calendar.
