Please note: All of the sites listed here offer free lessons & activities. Some do require you to register, but do not charge a fee to do so. Some also have additional "premium content" that does require a paid subscription. It is up to you to decide whether you feel that content would be worth the price.

Smithsonian Education - the Smithsonian site just for students.

Yahoo!Kids Science Page - includes videos, reference information and games.

www.science.gov - "Science.gov is a gateway to over 50 million pages of authoritative selected science information provided by U.S. government agencies, including research and development results."

www.sciencenewsforkids.org - a large reference site of science-oriented articles.

www.internet4classrooms.com - free links broken down by subject matter, for grades K - 8.

PASS Science Textbooks - orginally written for struggling learners, these books cover the core knowledge in Integrated Science (a basic science course), Biology, Earth/Space Science, Marine Science, and Physical Science, and can be used by students of all learning-ability levels. These are public school materials, and they do teach evolutionary science.

www.creationism.org - articles and books devoted to creation-based science.

In the Beginning - Compelling Evidence for Creation and the Flood - a free, on-line version of the textbook. For higher grades.

www.discoverymagazine.com - a creation-based archive of science articles for younger children.

www.kids-science-experiments.com - science experiments using common household items.

Joey Green's Mad Scientist - more science experiments you can conduct right at home.

Middle School Earth Science - includes on-line textbook, teacher guides and tests. (Evolutionary-based.)

www.learningpage.com - offers unit studies with worksheets and activities for younger elementary grades.

FCAT science standards - includes resources that cover science topics from the FCAT test.

FCAT elementary science - a practice test, some curriculum info, and, at the bottom of the page, free downloadable science workbooks in .pdf form for grades 3 - 5.
