www.gardenofpraise.com - free Bible lessons for elementary grades, with worksheets, tests, puzzles, audio files, and more. Nice!

www.ebibleteacher.com - Bible lessons for young children. Created for Sunday School teachers, but can be adapted to a home education program.

www.calvarychapel.com - also for older elementary grades, this excellent site has 325 Bible lessons, in .pdf files that include worksheets, puzzles, and coloring sheets.

www.bibleclassbooks.com/elementary - free, comprehensive Bible studies/lessons for elementary and middle school ages.

www.bibleclassbooks.com/adult - although this section of Bible Class Books is labeled "adults", these lessons can be used by high schoolers for in-depth Bible study. There are even more study plans listed on this site under the sub-headings of "Old Testament" and "New Testament".

www.padfield.com - this supplier of some of the free books at the Bible Class Books site offers dozens more free books, in a range of topics, including Bible History & Geography, Men and Women of the Old Testament, and a study of the Church History. Great for older students.

The Bible in Pictures - this is an old, public domain book, free to download, with many Bible illustrations. Excellent resource for timelines and notebooking!


Special Mention: e-Sword is a free to download software that enables you to read and compare Bible texts on your computer. Along with the software itself, you can freely download several Bible versions, including the American Standard version, the King James, and the International Standard version. There are also commentaries, dictionaries, illustrations and other Bible-centered study materials. Just note, they also have materials for purchase.
