Deer Chase Academy is a non-public school registered with the Florida Department of Education, #5277, founded to enable homeschooling families to maintain their independence, but still comply with mandatory attendance laws. Our fees charged are not tuition costs, but rather serve only to cover the administrative costs to maintain the school, and are kept as low as possible.
Deer Chase Academy believes it is both the right and the responsibility of all parents to direct the education of their children in the manner that each child's parent deems best, without undue interference from outside the family unit.
DCA does not provide books, materials, or curriculum, nor does it mandate any particular teaching style. We believe that children are not "one-size-fits-all" and that one single education program is incapable of serving all students.
Enrollment to DCA is open to all Florida residents, year-round.
